un resolution to ban religion

i thought oh no, what have i done.

but now, i'm thinking it was just a matter of time before someone attempted the unachievable.

In spite of what the UN's "published" postion on religion is, they know and understand very well that a peaceful and secure world is a "religion free" world. Even the Pope said recently that the only hope for mankind was "The New World Order", which of course supports one world religion.
The philosophy is bang on, http://www.formulism.org/index.html. Religion is a killer, religion has to go, Duh! Who knew?

i have a newspaper article with the headline "un quietly wages war on religion" i talked with some reps from the un in my country and they were talking about religion and how it had to go etc.

I do not believe the WTS is exempt from the attack, I never did, I always believed ALL would have to go in the UN's mind.

FDS: Whoever "endures to the end" of the great tribulation will have the last word. Those that still have strong faith can be the ONLY ones "enduring". Who is that?

Linking the JW's to the attack...JW's have preached this for years and it may just be the one prophecy they get right, who knows, I do know I about crapped myself when I read this article in the paper.

Common sense says religion must go and the world will be more accepting these days because the world knows what false religion has done for man.

Well thats the link I found..it is a newspaper article reprinted there, I have the original paper didn't feel like typing it all out.

Asking the AUTHOR about his religious bias or ignor what the article says is up to you.

I noticed one name associated with the membership is no longer with the org.

propaganda I was referring to was UN stance on religion and how much they "like it" in the literature they publish, I am still investigating UN-WT connection which is a separate issue.

me and the JW's? same reason I am here, research, I like ALOT of info before i commit and I agree with all of you that JW's is alot of work and sacrifice, I too like my freedom. I have not made a decision either way.
I can't thank you all enough for the information you provide. I am reading it all and learning, I just cant' respond to all the posts, I have a business to run.

I need to make one thing clear once and for all, I do not read WT, I am not a JW, I only know what they preach, and have a very good understanding of the bible (if I blow my own horn)
I have defended the JW's here because based on MY personal research, they appear to be correct. I am HERE to get yet ANOTHER perspective. Got that?, you are all free to "deprogram" as you see fit.
